     Mathematics are everywhere, in nature as well as in our daily environment.
From CD reading to credit cards security on internet, from forest management to DNA sequencing or digital images, mathematics show their essential role to improve our life and better understand the different phenomenons which surround us. These posters, created with the support of European mathematicians can be accompanied with nteractive experiments.They are supposed to catch the eye and be representative of mathematics and its uses. This exhibition realized by the European Comittee of the World Mathematical Year 2000 and Centre-Sciences of Orleans received the support of the European Commission ,the french ministry of Research and the french ministry of Foreign Affairs.
